Anyone who watches juushinkan might be reading what I posted before.  Sorry about that, but I thought I might put the more real life crud back over on that journal where it belongs.  For the year in review here on Joules, it seems much more appropriate, to do a little something involving some Transformers instead.

I didn't get everything done I'd meant to finish for my fandom friends!  But once upon a time, far far away, I got it into my head to repaint the absolutely adorable eggplanes molds into Transformers.  The most obvious Transformers, as you can see, and it was goodly.  Took me forever to finally get around to doing it, and ended up setting up an entire creativity station for myself before I actually sat down to do it, but I do like the end result. They aren't perfect, but I learned a lot about what paints I like and don't like working with to airbrush.  About which tapes didn't have bleed under when marking off the wing stripes.  All in all, these little bastards kicked my ass, but I managed to finish them off for my friends. :B I ended up giving Starscreams to amidoh and shiome, and just now gave them to ladydragon76, which is why I can finally, finally post about it. 

She knew about them for a long time, but didn't know I'd finally gotten them done.  I can totally admit that I'm kinda proud of myself.  But, she'd originally paid me for the trine, so they weren't really her Christmas present.  I made her the slave bracelet she'd asked for instead. 

I actually wrote a fic this year, too!  I'll probably post it to my journal soon, as I didn't really plan to stay anon permanently.  But it was the only fic I wrote and finished, even thought it was rushed, and it won tied first place over at competition_fun.  Another proud item that leads straight into my new years resolution for the year.  It isn't weight loss.  I normally don't do that as a resolution, and I'm joining the seemingly TF fan oriented competition starting mid January over in monthlygoals.  But mainly, I want to actually contribute a little to the TF fandom that I've been a part of for only years of my life now.  And, well, let's get honest.  I want to produce stuff for primescream for shiome and konora.  Or have little sketch offs with shiome so she doesn't have to be the only one sending awesome funny cards full of derpy jets. 

And finally write that fic that I've owed ladydragon76 for ages now.  Well, one of them, anyway. Not sure about the other.  And get to be around enough so that we can actually talk about the fic I used to beta for her when she finally decides to continue it. Generally, I want to create things for the people who made the last few years so great.

I love mine, I'm just afraid of taking it to the dorm because I'm sure a little landing gear wheel would get lost in the trip. :| Thank you again, though!
Btw my Starscream is still sporting its cockpit cavity in a bold declaration of confidence and sexiness.
(Though I might have to beg you for a new cockpit when I have a definite new address and some money to throw at you for the favor. |D Because them yellow glasses look shiny.)

Also, I'm ALLLL ready for sketch offs! Whenever you want when I'll be back in possession of my tablet, I do need the incentive to start being vaguely active in fandom again ;-; ...school permitting. I should be relatively free around the end of the month, so here's hoping.

also what is this about SQUEAKING EGGPLANES. I will forever picture them as seekerlets, but that was probably your aim.

The landing gear are really delicate. I wish they popped out easier without risking breaking the landing pegs, which has happened to me. :/ They are a TIGHT fit. But it will be waiting at home! Terrorizing all of your other toys with its squawks.

I believe the correct term is that your Starscream is sporting that empty cockpit like a slut. You'd better stuff a paper towel in there or something, just to make sure nothing gets lost in there. But there are already plans for a cockpitting. Wish I knew if the thing got lost in customs or if it just somehow, someway didn't make it in the box. D: I thought I was really careful about all that!

And I gotta get un-rusty is what I gotta do. It's all embarrassing since I haven't sketched regularly in years. Sometimes it rocks right out like old times, other times, it's like I'm riding that pencil like a unicycle, upside down, with my left hand.

I didn't even have to AIM to have you thinking seekerlets. Not that you'd mind them squeaking even if you hadn't been thinking that before. YOU THINK I DON'T KNOW?

He's trying to terrorize my shelf, but there's a SG Optimus (knockoff) toy next to him so it's more like feeble peeps, figuratively.

H-he's just advocating his rights of doing what HE WANTS with his cockpit. It's like a nudist beach on my shelf.
I don't think customs would remove a cockpit from my box D: if anything, the box looked tightly sealed with tape, but they HAVE opened my shit before and then re-packed it, so you can never know. |D maybe a plastic bag around small pieces would be a good bet. Goddamnit.
At any rate, I'll make sure to keep you updated on my addresses in the future. :B

Hey, I haven't drawn... pretty much since September. Since that LESBIANSSSS comic, anyway. I feel like I need to doodle mindless things for a while to get back into it, because big projects just give me anxiety right now. (Blame university stress 8|)

Maybe. These last two months have been so FULL OF FFFFFFF I don't know what happened. I know the small pieces were bubble wrap taped in there with the body halves. Darn that tiny box and international shipping! I'll defeat you next time we meet.

Pfffft, September. I don't think I've drawn at a legitimately regular pace since the summer of '08. OHHHH, BURN. I could do with lots and lots of... probably prompts and such. Of course konora has a very determined list. It's been long enough that my creative drive is kind of stunted and wooden by my methodical job and constant organizing. I've got to get back to where I actually think creatively and it isn't such a difficult exercise anymore.

Seekerlets just come naturally for you? You should take a lesson from nudist Starscream and wear those seekerlets proud. >:3

GOTTA GET CRACKING. You should start doodling and see where that takes you, obviously. I found that when I didn't have much time or drive to draw, sketchbooks laying conveniently close to my textbooks helped. :B

Honestly, it's more surprising that a whole cockpit disappeared and not a tiny landing gear! But I've stopped trying to understand my customs/postal system. :|

And hey, I'm not as confident in my seekerlets as Starscream is in his hot cockpit bosom!

I dooo gotta get cracking. This week is entirely out. I'm hoping that after this, the holidays and my end of year job rush will end all at once and these appointments and filled days will be a thing of the past. Of course, I've got a few challenges coming up, but I need to manage time better. Everyone at my job looks at comps, so I gotta be a little covert when playing in my tiny sketch books. D:

It's hard for me to tell for sure if it was lost or got set aside somehow, because there are tiny jet parts all over my house.

But you can gain confidence as you remember tiny jets. All huddled together for warmth in the cold of homelessness before Christmas.
